There is a religious belief that the city of Ayodhya is situated on the Surdashan Chakra of Lord Vishnu.
2- According to religious stories, Lord Vishnu sent Brahma, Manu, Vishwakarma and Maharishi Vasishta to choose the land for their Ramavatar. According to mythological beliefs, Ayodhya was chosen by Maharishi Vashishta on the banks of the river Saryu and Devashilpi Vishwakarma built this city.
